Admin Monday... well, if you're going to keep pointing out that I do these on Tuesday then how will I have any fun?... 25 AUG 2015

Another round of links and updates from your friendly Galway Pub Scrawl!

Apologies for a lack of a post about last Sunday's Secret Scrawl - I got hauled into work and I haven't yet corresponded with anyone to see who took photos of what. Fingers crossed we'll see some nice Art later in the week.

I hope everyone kept up with the amazing success of this year's 31 Day Drawing Challenge. Make sure to check the pages as a few entries straggled in after the final bell was rung. Also, make sure to go patronise/like/support/follow all the entrants' various blogs/social media/sites/etc as they did really, really well this time out.

If you are interested in keeping a challenge going, Katie of Scruffy Morris is doing an "altered cards" project where people are designing/altering cards from a playing card deck that she is doling out. You can find her contact details over on her blog.

And Jun-Pierre had a pretty nice write-up about us on his blog. I think we could have borne a few more superlatives, but I'll take what I get.

There was a good run through of how Erik Johansson makes his imagery.

What do you do with Instagram? You follow these Artists.

People who make movies know how to set a scene, that's for sure.

Everyone should watch this:

Patrick wants us to try to draw more feet, I think.

Sean "Cheeks" Galloway has a new studio venture that is worth a Facebook like.

Guys, the current exhibition at the Arcadia Contemporary is insanely good, and you can see most of it online right now.

The Norman Rockwell Museum has started a new "Illustration History" website.

Friend of Pub Scrawl Des Langford wants you to check out his comic, Murf's Meadow.

And Paggy wants us to gaze on the Art in the Darkest Dungeon.

That's it, that's all - donalfall out.

You can find us on Monday the 31st of August in McSwiggans for the next Galway Pub Scrawl #143 - Filling a sketchbook in less than 12 parsecs and Sunday the 06th of September in the Secret Garden for the next Secret Sunday Scrawl - #015: The Venerable Order of Secret Scrawlers!

If you like our works, you might give us a +1 with your Google+ account on this here post, or RT our twitter account, or join us on Facebook and "like" our public page!

  1. Dang. I knew I should have added those extra superlatives.
